Introduction
It is well known that the defect in the glass structure can lead to
"color center" under high irradiation. Irradiation-resistant dopant such as cerium can decrease the amount of the
"color center". We prepared irradiation resistant glass by doping
Irradiation-resistant dopant to
Li2O-Al2O3-SiO2 system based glasses.
Irradiation resistant glass can used as irradiation-resistant & irradiation-proof transparent materials, for example, cover glass in solar cell, CRT tube in aerospace or space fields. The glass has high strength, excellent corrosion-resistant, heat-stability and easy strengthened with ion-exchanging.
Main Properties
Irradiation Resistant:
Electron energy 1MeV, Instant flux
5กม1010~2กม1012e/cm2s, Accumulative
flux 2กม1016e/cm2, Attenuation of transmittance less than 0.8% from 500 to 1100nm wavelength.
Optical property:
transmittance≤1% at 330nm,
transmittance≥88% at 400nm,
transmittance≥90% at 450nm,
transmittance≥92% between 500-1100nm.
Coefficient of thermal expansion:
≤65กม10-7/℃ (Room temperature~100℃)
Bending strength: ≥200MPa
Thermal-shocking temperature: ≥280℃
(-180℃~100℃)
Other properties conform to GJB1976-94
